Sorry, I'm not sure what's gone wrong there as the code is working on everything we have tested it on. The only terms I can find with the code is "All offers not available on products sold by our Approved Partners" so if something is sold by a third party through Halfords it won't work.
You could try giving them a call and maybe they can place the order by phone with the code? Their number is 0345 504 53 53 if you wanted to give that a try.
