Anyone else's eyes water at what a beauty advent calendar costs these days? Aldi's 12 Days of Lacura Beauty Advent Calendar is £19.99 and it's in the stores from Sunday 25 October, twelve Lacura products behind the doors, a mix of minis and full sizes, and one of them is a lip gloss you can't buy anywhere else.

The exclusive one is a 'Perfect Peach' Plumping Lip Gloss, with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E in it, and it's the sort of peachy shade I'd wear all year rather than save for December. My beauty drawer is already groaning, but this is the one I'd make room for. There's a Girl Gone Bad Mascara in black, a Set & Forget clear brow gel with a dual-sided wand that's meant to hold for up to 24 hours, and a liquid blush in a shade called Pink Lace.
There's a hyaluronic acid and pomegranate face mask that takes 15 minutes, a pair of hydrogel eye pads with aloe vera and caffeine for a tired morning, and a jade gua sha, which is the bit I've been meaning to try for ages. For hair there's a 50ml leave-in conditioner, a 15ml hair repair oil that takes 1 to 3 drops through the lengths before you style it, a claw clip and a 100% silk scrunchie.
Twelve products for £19.99 works out at about £1.67 each, and it's all cruelty free and dermatologically tested too. There are plenty more Christmas bits about if you're getting ahead with the shopping, and I always check the health and beauty vouchers and the beauty deals before I buy anything like this.
It sold out last year, so I wouldn't hang about once it lands.
