Ooh, have you seen these? I've just spotted this InLit Set of 5 Christmas Ducklings at Dunelm for £25, five ducklings in Santa hats and scarves with a warm glow coming off them, and they are the sort of silly extra that makes a room feel properly Christmassy.
Each one is about 13.5cm tall and 13cm deep, so five in a row fill a windowsill without taking it over, and they work out at £5 a duckling. They're made of plastic, so a wipe with a damp cloth is all they need to keep clean.
They're new in at Dunelm and they'd sit nicely along the mantelpiece or on a shelf with the rest of the decorations. They're small enough to move about the house as the mood takes you, which is what I end up doing with all my Christmas bits anyway.
There's plenty more Christmas about if you're starting the decorations, and home deals if you're having a browse for the house. I always have a look at the home and garden vouchers before I order anything for mine.
Standard delivery is £3.95, and it's free once you spend £60. Click and collect from a Dunelm store is free as well, and it can be ready the same day in as little as two hours.
