Jellycat almost never gets reduced, which is why I keep half an eye on it all year and then buy in the week it does. Fenwick have 15% off a good chunk of their Jellycat collection at the moment, 16 pieces in all, and the cheapest is a £20 soft toy down to £17.
It's the Amuseables end of the range that's mostly reduced, which suits me, because those are the ones with a bit of character rather than another bunny. The Amuseables Pebble is here for £17, down from £20, and it's exactly what it sounds like, a grey pebble with a face.
The Peanut in the Star Student outfit is £19.55 down from £23 and it's the one I'd buy for a teen, the Peanut Star Student is here for £19.50. For a shelf rather than a pocket, the Ort & Tum Acorns are here for £25.50, down from £30, and they're a pair of acorns meant to sit together.
The two I like most are the silly ones. The Zapperty Lightning Bolt is here for £29.75, down from £35, and it's a plush lightning bolt, a shape nobody needs and everybody wants once they've seen it. The Amuseable Cactus Bag is here for £29.75, down from £35, and that one's a proper cross body bag rather than a toy, with a felt pot, a green cord cactus that unzips, a pink tassel flower and a cotton lining. Fenwick cap it at three per order, which tells you how it sells.
For something that looks like a present rather than a soft toy, the Cream Bunny with Plant is £34 down from £40, the Cream Bunny with Plant is here for £34, and the bunny is holding a little potted plant, so it's the one for someone whose windowsill is already full.
At the dearer end, Bartholomew Bear in the Seafarer outfit is £51 down from £60, Bartholomew Bear Seafarer is here for £51. He's the most recognisable bear they make, and the removable fisherman's outfit means he can be dressed and undressed, which is most of the play value.
Only the pieces marked down are in this reduction, so there's plenty of full price Jellycat in the same collection and it's worth checking the price you see before you add one. The other 15% off pieces are the Pinchsnap Crab, the Sun Roller Skates and the Ivy at £38.25 down from £45, and the Football and the Rufferty Puppy wizard outfit at £46.75 down from £55.
Fenwick also had two of the reduced pieces showing as sold out when I looked, the Watering Can and Larry Lobster in the sailor outfit, so those may come back and may not.
Standard delivery is £5, or free on orders over £100, and click and collect from a store is free.
