Wallace and Gromit turn up on the telly every Christmas in this house, so I was always going to look twice at pyjamas with them on. George have three pairs, from £16, and they're the sort of present that gets worn on Christmas Eve rather than folded into a drawer.

The £16 pair is the women's one, and it's the one I'd wear. The top is short sleeved with Gromit tucking into his breakfast and "I don't do mornings" across it, which is about right for December. The bottoms are full length and printed too, with an elasticated waist, and the whole thing is cotton, so it goes in the wash and the tumble dryer without any fuss. It comes in 4-6 through to 20-22.
The Feathers pair is £20 and it comes in the men's sizes, XS through to XXXXL. Feathers the penguin is printed on it with "Criminal mastermind wanted/ain't no chicken" underneath. Long sleeves, a cuffed leg so they don't ride up, and the same cotton jersey.
The gift set is the one to buy if it's a present. It's £20 for a long sleeved top and full length bottoms printed with a turkey dinner and "Cracking Christmas", and it comes ribbon bound, so there's nothing to wrap. The sizing runs XS to XXXXL and it's cotton again, with the trousers in a cotton mix so they've a bit of give in them.
If you're buying for someone who insists they don't want anything, pyjamas are the answer, because nobody turns their nose up at a new pair in December. The £16 pair is the cheapest way into it and the gift set is the one that looks like you made an effort.
