Each pack is five pairs of crew socks, and the designs are the cute end of Halloween rather than the gory end, with pumpkins, owls, hedgehogs and squirrels printed on them. They're cotton, so they're the sort you can wear to work under trousers without anyone knowing, and there's enough stretch in them to stay up.
One size fits UK 4 to 8, which covers most teens and adults, so it's the easy present for someone you don't know the size of. At 80p a pair I'd buy a pack for the house and let them be worn to bits rather than saving them for the 31st.
