Celebaby: Pink Thinks Three Year Old Daughter Swearing Is Cute

Kids and swearing: a cute combination?

US singer Pink certainly seems to think so. Appearing on a Stateside TV chat show recently, Pink revealed that her three-year-old daughter is developing something of a potty mouth.

The Daily Mail reports:

The Try hitmaker recounted a recent story, telling the audience: 'OK, I was getting ready to go out on stage and she ran in and she must have been preparing this, like a bit.

'And she came and she said, "I’m f***ing here!" And I was like I’m sorry, I can’t. My ears don’t understand what you’re saying.'

The 56-year-old talk show host responded: 'Wow, and then you don’t want to make a big deal out of it cause she’s going to keep saying it.'

Pink replied: 'She mutters it when she thinks no one is looking,' and convinced Willow got it from her mother, Ellen speculated: 'Someone must have said that to her.'

Pink went on to describe it as 'cute'. Now I'm no prude, but I'm guessing that most mums I know would be pretty mortified if their toddler started dropping the F-word.

I don't mind admitting that I was horrified when my son, who was about three at the time, tripped over a step in the presence of my parents and promptly muttered a swear word. My parents were shocked, to say the least, and my Dad quipped 'Well, at least he knows how to use it in context.'

So how do you view kids and swearing? Do you swear around your children, and would you find it cute or mortifying if you heard your child repeating a swear word?
