What we have here is a lovely refurbished Hitachi digital camera with 12MP for only £32.98. This is a perfect first camera for an older child, or as perhaps your drag along to playdates and it is ok if it gets a bit bashed about camera. The price is excellent and you get some really good features to boot.
The Hitachi HDC1291 digital camera has 12 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, a 2.7inch LCD screen, a black plastic body and a Foxconn lens. The camera is PictBridge compatible too. These are pretty good features for this price, let me tell you, and you can take some seriously awesome snaps on this camera too.
The camera also has digital anti-blur, face detection for up to six faces, it can shoot continuously for up to 30 frames per second, and it is compatible with SD and SDHC memory cards. You can also capture movies (not brilliant ones though) with sound.
The ISO hits a max of 1600, you have 21 scene modes, a smile shutter, a self-timer, a built-in flash and you will need to give it two AA batteries that are included.
