If you know a Kuromi fan, this is the sort of small thing that goes down well at Christmas. It's the YuMe Hello Kitty and Friends bedside light with Kuromi in her own little TV, and it's £4.98 at Amazon. It's about 10cm tall, so it sits on a bedside table or a shelf without taking the space over.
It's an LED light, so the glow is soft rather than bright enough to read by, which is what you want from a nightlight beside the bed. The TV shape is the bit that makes it, with Kuromi peeking out of the screen, and it's light enough to move about as it's only 52g. It's suitable for ages 3 and up, so it can go in with the toys rather than on a high shelf.
At £4.98 it would make a cracking stocking filler.
Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members. Non-members get free standard delivery on orders over £35, otherwise it's £4.99.
