Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder Foundation £13.59 @ Amazon

I've seen the Laura Geller Baked Balance-n-Brighten Powder Foundation all over social media for ages, so when I spotted the price on Amazon I had to have a proper look. It's £16.99 as a one-off, or £15.29 on Subscribe & Save, and there's a 10% voucher to tick on the page which brings the Subscribe & Save total to £13.59 at the checkout. The RRP is £19.99.

It's a baked powder rather than a liquid, which makes it a great alternative if you don't like the feel of heavy liquid foundation sitting on your skin. It goes on light and sheer with a brush, and you can build up the coverage where you want it without it going cakey. The finish is demi-matte, so it looks like your skin rather than a mask.

It's one of the most popular foundations on Amazon, with 4.2 out of 5 stars from over 73,000 reviews, and more than 3,000 people have bought it in the past month alone. The formula is baked on terracotta tiles in Italy over 24 hours and then hand-finished, and it's got Centella Asiatica and white tea extract in it for a bit of skincare while it's on.

This is the Medium shade with neutral undertones, and the different coloured swirls in the powder are designed to self-adjust to your skin tone rather than sitting as one flat colour. A compact should last a good while, since a little goes a long way.

At £13.59 it's the cheapest I've seen it, and if you've been curious about switching from liquid to powder, this is a good price to find out.

Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members. Non-members get free standard delivery on orders over £35, otherwise it's £4.99.
