If you want the stairs or the mantelpiece to look like somebody made an effort, a garland does more for the room than a tree does. This one is 2.7 metres long and down to £9.95 for Clubcard members at Tesco from £15.95, and it's the frosted kind rather than plain green.
It's flocked with fake snow across mixed pine and spruce needles with pinecones tucked through it, and there are 195 tips, which is why it looks full rather than spindly. It's 25cm wide, and it's fine indoors or outside somewhere sheltered. Two things worth knowing before it arrives: you have to arrange and fluff the branches out to get it looking like the photos, and some of the flocking will drop off while you do it and then settle once it's hung.
It comes with nothing on it, so it's the base for your own lights and baubles, and 2.7m goes right along a staircase rail or the length of a fireplace. It's sold through Tesco Marketplace by Cheaper Online Ltd, so it arrives by courier rather than with your shopping.
This is a Clubcard price so be aware you do need to be a member and logged in for this price. This deal ends on 5th November.
Standard delivery is free, or express is £2.95 if you order before 3pm, and returns are free within 30 days.
