This is the one I'd put money on being under a lot of trees this year, my nephew got it for his birthday last month and it is so much fun! The Mini Brands Really Works Vinyl Playset is a miniature record player that genuinely plays music, and it's now £15 at Argos down from £20.
It comes with an exclusive mini vinyl of "APT." by Rosé and Bruno Mars, and you drop the needle on it and it plays out loud from a turntable that fits in the palm of your hand. There's a stand in the box so it sits on a shelf like a tiny record store, and the records from the capsule packs add Katy Perry, Kendrick Lamar, Fall Out Boy and Chappell Roan, though those are sold separately.
That's the trick with Mini Brands, and why I think this one runs: the playset is £15 and then there's a whole collection to chase after it. It's rated for ages 3 and up, but it's really aimed at the older ones and the grown-ups who collect them.
At £15 instead of £20 it's a fiver off, which is the sort of price where you buy one for yours and one for a birthday party coming up.
