If you've a LEGO fan who has run out of things to build, the flower sets make a nice change of pace. The Botanicals Daisies set is £8.99, and there's a 46p voucher that takes itself off at the checkout, so £8.53.
There are 133 pieces and it builds three big daisies, two stems of smaller ones and three sprigs of lavender, with a ladybird perched on top. There's no vase in the box, so it's worth having one ready for when they've finished.
It says 9 and up on the box, but the Botanicals sets are the ones grown ups end up doing themselves, and there's a fair few more in the range if they get the bug.
At £8.53 it's birthday party present money, and cheap enough to buy alongside the main present rather than instead of it.
Delivery is free for Amazon Prime members. Non-members get free standard delivery on orders over £35, otherwise it's £4.99.
