Last year my eldest was desperate for Lego Dimensions, but as it as around £70 at it's lowest price we held off and hoped for a big price drop. It has been dropping steadily, and now it's down to just £29.99 for the starter packs, on all formats, in both Argos and Smyths Toys!
If you missed out on all the excitement when it was released last Christmas, this in a 'toys to life' game, where you can add new characters to your gameplay by putting them on your special gamepad. You have to build the Lego base yourself to start, and then set off on your quest!
The £29.99 price is for the starter pack on all consoles, including PS4, XBox One, PS3, XBox 360 and the WiiU, and some of the starter packs in Smyths have an extra exclusive Super Girl character included as well.
Smyths went out of stock very fast when they first dropped the price, but they seem to have a load of new stocks in (hooray!), and Argos have just dropped their price as well. Gaming is not included in the 3 for 2 on toys at Argos. Stocks seem to be very limited at Argos, as this is selling very fast.
Argos offer free reserve and collect, or home delivery is £3.95. Smyths offer free click and collect and home delivery is free on orders of £20 or more.
