Elf is one of those films I end up watching every December whether I mean to or not, and Fisher-Price have turned it into Little People figures. The Little People Collector Elf Santa's Workshop Special Movie Edition Set is £17 at Argos, and code TOYS25 takes 25% off at checkout, which brings it down to £12.75.
There are three figures in the box. Buddy is holding a jack-in-the-box toy, his Bestest Friend is in her pink elf outfit, and Santa has his suspenders and glasses on. They're in the Little People style, so they're chunky little figures with big round heads, and each one stands over 2.5 inches tall. The box is 18cm high, so it's the sort of thing that sits on a shelf or a windowsill where you can see it, rather than going in the toy box.
It's for ages 8 and over, which puts it on the collector side of the range rather than the playroom, and it's the one for whoever in your life can quote the film back at you. There are no batteries and no screen involved, and at £12.75 I'd be tempted to buy one to keep in the box on show.
Collection from your local store is available the same day free of charge, and delivery is £3.95.
