Every winter I start to look at Christmas bedding but they can be so expensive. This Argos Home Driving Home for Christmas one is in the clearance, from £2.50 for a single, £3.00 for a double and £3.50 for a king. At that money you could do the spare room as well as your own.
It's a fleece set, so it's warm and soft rather than crisp cotton, which is what I want on a cold night. The cover is reversible too, the Christmas car design on one side and plain snowy white on the other, so you can turn it round once you've had enough of the cars and it still looks like new bedding.
The double cover measures 200cm by 200cm and the two pillowcases are 75cm by 50cm, and it fastens with buttons rather than poppers, which I prefer because they don't come undone in the night. It goes in the machine at 40 and it's fine in the tumble dryer, and it's had 17 reviews with 4.8 out of 5 and every one of them saying they'd recommend it.
It's clearance, so the sizes will come and go, and the single at £2.50 is the one I'd expect to go first.
