The Gingerbread House is £34.99 at Amazon and Smyths right now, so that’s a good saving. It’s 498 pieces with a Santa minifigure, and inside it’s all done up with his desk, a fireplace and a wee bedroom.
The Up-Scaled Santa is a giant version of the classic Santa minifigure, built from 761 pieces, and his arms move so he can sit or stand on a shelf. He’s £53.07 at Amazon, so George is over £11 cheaper.
And for the Star Wars fans, the Gingerbread AT-AT Walker is decorated just like a gingerbread house. It’s 697 pieces, the legs move and the sides open up to show Darth Vader’s seat by the fire, a table with a drink and a cookie, and stockings and presents. You get a Gingerbread Darth Vader minifigure with a candy cane and a red lightsaber, which made me smile. It’s £45.99 at Amazon and Smyths.
All three are rated for ages 10 and up, but they’re just as much fun for the grown ups who love building them.
Click and collect is free, or delivery is from £3.75.
