About Lighting Direct

Lighting Direct is a UK indoor and outdoor lighting retailer trading at lighting-direct.co.uk, with a catalogue covering ceiling lights, pendant lights, wall lights, table and floor lamps, bathroom lighting, outdoor and security lighting, fans, smart lighting and replacement bulbs. The store stocks own-label fittings alongside third-party brands across modern, traditional, industrial and designer finishes, with extras such as solar party lights and dusk-to-dawn bulbs sitting alongside the core fixtures. A trade arm called LD Pro caters to electricians, designers and other business customers with their own pricing tier. Customers can pair the latest seasonal sale with a Lighting Direct discount code from this page to bring the basket subtotal down further.

Lighting Direct Spring Savings Sale

The Lighting Direct Spring Savings event runs across indoor and outdoor lighting with savings reaching up to 50% on selected items, including dining room lighting, outdoor and security fixtures and seasonal solar lights. Sale prices are already discounted at the basket and a Lighting Direct promo code from this page can pair with the sale rate when the code's terms allow stacking on full-price lines in the same order. Stock on individual fittings is limited to remaining production runs, so popular finishes can sell through quickly once a fresh sale refresh goes live.

Lighting Direct LD Pro Trade Discount

LD Pro is the brand's free trade account for electricians, contractors, interior designers and other business customers, giving members up to 25% off Lighting Direct's standard online prices once their account has been approved. Sign-up takes place through the LD Pro page on the website by submitting business details for verification, and the trade discount is applied automatically at the basket once the account is active. The LD Pro tier sits separately from any consumer Lighting Direct discount code from this page, so members should check the terms before stacking codes.

Lighting Direct Delivery Options

Lighting Direct ships across the UK with tiered delivery rates and a free-delivery threshold, and a Lighting Direct discount code applied at the basket does not affect a chosen delivery tier or its charge.

• Mainland UK Standard Delivery: £6.99 on orders under £30, £4.99 on orders from £30 to £69.99, and free on orders of £70 or more.
• Mainland UK Express Delivery: £6.99 flat rate regardless of basket value.
• Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands: £8.99 on orders under £30 and £6.99 on orders of £30 or more.
• Channel Islands Delivery: £34.99 per order, dispatched on the same standard timeframe.

Lighting Direct Returns Policy

Lighting Direct operates a 30-day Change Your Mind return policy, and a Lighting Direct voucher code applied to the original order does not affect the right to return.

• Return Window: 30 days from delivery to send unwanted items back for a refund.
• Holiday Extension: Returns windows are typically extended over the Christmas trading period; the exact dates are published on the Lighting Direct returns page each year.
• Return Postage: Customers are responsible for return postage on Change Your Mind returns; the online return portal helps surface the most affordable courier option.
• Refund Method: Refunds are credited back to the original payment method once the warehouse has received and inspected the items.
• Faulty Items: Faulty or incorrect items are handled separately by the Lighting Direct customer service team.

How to Use a Lighting Direct Discount Code

Applying a Lighting Direct discount code at the online checkout takes just a few steps.

• Browse and add to basket: Visit lighting-direct.co.uk and add the chosen indoor, outdoor or smart lighting items to the basket.
• Open the basket: Click the basket icon in the top right to review the order summary and quantities before checkout.
• Enter the code: Click Apply discount code beneath the listed items in the basket and type the Lighting Direct voucher code exactly as it appears, including any capital letters, then press apply.
• Confirm the saving: Check that the reduction is reflected in the order total before continuing to delivery and payment.
• Note: Most Lighting Direct promo codes apply to full-price items only and may exclude clearance lines, LD Pro trade pricing or third-party brand bundles in the same basket.
