About The Range

The Range is a major British retailer offering an extensive selection of products across home, garden, and leisure departments. With over 200 stores nationwide and a vast online catalogue, the brand stocks more than 140,000 items ranging from furniture and textiles to DIY tools and art supplies. Customers can frequently apply a The Range discount code during the checkout process to secure extra savings on top of the retailer's competitive high-street prices.

The Range UK Delivery Options

The retailer provides several shipping methods for UK customers, with costs varying based on the size and weight of the items in the order.

• Standard Delivery: Shipping for small to medium items starts at £3.95 and typically takes between 3 and 5 working days for arrival.
• Free Delivery: You can qualify for free standard shipping automatically when your total order value exceeds £59, provided the items are not oversized or heavy.
• Next Day Delivery: Orders placed before 11pm are eligible for next-day arrival for a fee of £4.95, though this service is subject to postcode availability.
• Saver Delivery: A more economical option is available for certain items at £2.49, which prioritises lower-cost transit over speed.
• Heavy or Fragile Delivery: Larger products such as sofas, garden sets, or appliances require a specialist two-person team and carry a flat fee of £9.95.

Returns and Refund Policy

The Range operates a standard returns policy that allows customers to return most products within 14 days of receipt if they are unsuitable.

Items must be returned in their original, unused condition and include all the original packaging to be eligible for a refund. Smaller items purchased online can be taken to any physical store location for a free return, provided you bring your delivery note as proof of purchase. For larger furniture items or appliances, you must contact the customer care team to arrange a courier collection, which may involve a dedicated return fee. Once the warehouse receives and inspects the goods, refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method within 3 to 5 working days.

Student and Youth Savings

Verified students can access dedicated price reductions to help manage the cost of setting up a university room or purchasing study essentials.

Students are eligible for a 10% The Range discount code on orders over £40 after verifying their status through a recognised student verification portal. This discount is valid for use on a wide array of full-priced items across the home and stationery departments. After completing the verification process, a unique promotional code is generated for use at the online checkout. Note that this saving cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and typically excludes products sold by Range Plus Partners.

Flexible Payment with Klarna

Shoppers can manage the cost of larger home or garden purchases by using integrated flexible payment solutions during the online checkout.

• Pay in 3: This option allows you to split the cost of your purchase into three equal interest-free instalments, with the first payment taken at checkout and the others every 30 days.
• Pay in 30 Days: You can choose to have your items delivered first and pay the full balance up to 30 days later, allowing you to ensure the product meets your expectations.
• Eligibility: To use these services, you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over and hold a valid bank account for verification.
• Credit Impact: A soft credit check is performed when you apply for these options, which does not impact your credit score, though late payments can affect your future ability to use the service.
