About Dobies

Dobies is a British gardening retailer trading at dobies.co.uk, selling seeds, vegetable plants, potatoes, garlic and onions, fruit, flower seeds and bulbs, house plants, bedding plants, garden equipment, and bird and wildlife products. The site curates seasonal gardening guides alongside a Plot, Tips and Advice content hub. Sub-collections cover the dedicated Dobies Gardening Club membership, the Group Discount Scheme for clubs and societies, and a rotating Deal of the Week. Shoppers looking for a Dobies discount code can browse this page for the latest deals before completing an order.

Dobies Newsletter Sign-Up

Subscribers to the Dobies email newsletter receive seasonal product alerts, exclusive email offers, and limited-time promotional codes direct to inbox. The signup form sits in the homepage footer, where an email address is entered to subscribe. Subscribers also receive ongoing alerts on Deal of the Week launches, seed-sowing reminders, and bedding-plant releases. Pairing a newsletter alert with a Dobies voucher code from this page is restricted by the offer terms.

Dobies Gardening Club Membership

Dobies Gardening Club is the brand's paid loyalty programme, designed to reward repeat shoppers with a permanent online discount and member-only vouchers. Combining Gardening Club benefits with a Dobies discount code from this page is restricted by the membership terms.

• Annual Fee: £10 for one year of membership, with online signup through the Dobies UK site.
• Member Discount: 10% off every online order placed during the membership year.
• Voucher Pack: £30 worth of vouchers issued as 6 x £5 vouchers, redeemable on online purchases over £30 excluding delivery.
• Voucher Use: One voucher per order applied at the basket page during the membership year.
• Subscription Bonus: An extra £5 voucher issued to members who choose the rolling subscription option instead of a one-year membership.
• Exclusive Deals: Member-only deals and seasonal promotions surfaced through the Gardening Club area of the account.

Dobies Group Discount Scheme

Dobies runs a tailored Group Discount Scheme for gardening clubs, allotment groups, and horticultural societies. Combining the Group Discount Scheme with a Dobies promo code from this page is restricted by the offer terms, with one organiser handling the unique scheme code for the whole group.

• Group Saving: Up to 50% off seeds and 15% off all other live products under the published scheme terms.
• Minimum Spend: Groups must collectively spend £100 or more after discount on seeds to qualify.
• Application: An organiser applies for a unique scheme code on the Dobies UK website on behalf of the group.
• Order Channels: The scheme code can be used on online, phone, or postal orders.
• Eligibility: Open to gardening clubs, allotment associations, and horticultural societies under the published terms.

Dobies Sales and Refer a Friend

Dobies runs frequent seasonal sales alongside a Refer a Friend programme on the UK site. Combining a Dobies voucher code with a sale price is restricted by the offer terms, but Refer a Friend rewards apply automatically once the qualifying order is placed.

• Refer a Friend: A unique referral code issued from the Refer a Friend page; the friend receives 20% off the first order, with a reward issued to the referrer once the qualifying order is placed.
• Deal of the Week: A rotating Deal of the Week feature on selected plants and seeds during published windows.
• Add-On Offers: Spend-and-save add-on offers tied to qualifying basket totals during published events.
• Plant Category Discounts: Recurring reductions on selected garden plants, fruit, and flower bulb categories.
• Seasonal Calendar: Seasonal sale events tied to the gardening calendar including spring sowing and autumn planting.

Dobies Delivery Options

Dobies ships across the UK from a partnership courier, with separate carriage charges for seeds and live products. Combining a Dobies discount code with a multi-item order is the simplest way to consolidate delivery into a single charge.

• Packet Seeds Only: £2.99 carriage charge on orders containing only packet seeds.
• Other Products: £6.99 carriage charge on orders containing other live products and equipment.
• Combined Charge: A combined £7.99 carriage charge applies when an order contains items from both delivery groups.
• Lorry Items: Larger non-standard items marked Lorry carry separate carriage charges shown on the product page.
• Coverage: UK delivery only, excluding Northern Ireland; some products may carry an additional carriage charge to remote areas including the Scottish Highlands, Isles, and BFPO addresses.

Dobies Returns Policy

Dobies accepts returns under the published returns policy, with free returns on damaged or defective items and customer-paid returns on change of mind. Reading these terms before applying a Dobies promo code keeps the process predictable.

• Free Returns: Free returns within 14 days for items damaged, defective, incorrect, or sent as an unwanted substitution.
• Change of Mind: Change-of-mind returns require the customer to cover the return postage.
• Condition: Live items returned for change of mind must be in their original condition with packaging where practical.
• Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and processed.
• Customer Service: Customer service handles return queries through the contact form on the Dobies UK site.

How to Use a Dobies Discount Code

Applying a Dobies discount code at the online checkout takes just a few steps.

• Browse and add to basket: Visit the Dobies UK website at dobies.co.uk and add the chosen seeds, plants, bulbs, or garden equipment to the basket.
• Go to the basket: Open the basket page to review the selected items.
• Enter the code: Locate the voucher code or offer code field on the right side of the basket and type the Dobies discount code exactly as it appears, including any capital letters, then click apply.
• Confirm the saving: Check that the reduction is reflected in the order total before completing payment.
• Note: Most Dobies promo codes apply to selected items only and may exclude delivery, gift cards, lorry items, and selected partner brands. Only one Dobies discount code can be applied per order.
