Play.com have three of Lego Advent Calendars listed with deals on two of them. The best deal is the Lego City Advent Calendar, which is reduced from £19.99 to £16.99, saving you £3. Of course, these may be cheaper nearer the big day, but on the other hand they may get snatched up before you can get them.
The Lego City Advent Calendar is filled with 24 days of fun, with 7 minifigures (Santa, 3 firefighters, a brother, sister and mechanic), the iconic forest fire equipment racks, fire hydrant and chainsaw, wheelbarrow, snow catapult, mini fire engine and accessories that Santa needs to get his snow-stuck sleigh out in time for Christmas day.
The set is suitable, they say, for ages 5-12 years, but I reckon that should say ages 5 - 92 years!
Also, the Lego Starwars set is £22.99 instead of £24.99 and the Lego Friends set is available for pre-order (it is available at Amazon though.) I was at Legoland Windsor a few days ago and they have a fantastic Lego Starwars interactive exhibition - it's fantastic. If you're a fan, get yourself there! As an aside, I also had a good look at the Lego Friends Advent calendar, and my hubby hinted that I may just find that in my stocking on December 1st.
