Seriously, if you WANT this LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon then buy it now - forget reading the rest of this post, the salient points are £89.11 (saving yourself £44 on the normal price), there's no delivery to pay and it's NOT an Amazon Deal of the Week so it's price could go up any time Amazon see fit to increase it.
I wish my youngest was a little older - he's five and a half - because if he was, this LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon would definitely be his major 'BIG' Christmas present. He loves Star Wars, he loves LEGO Star Wars, he beat me in a lightsaber battle last night and won (I even have video to prove it).
The thing is, it would break my heart to buy this for him now, knowing that over time some of the 1,238 pieces would go missing; much as I'd love to build this LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon with him, he's just not ready for something quite this massive.
However, if YOU have a Star Wars fan who's ready to cope with such a mammoth build, and would love you forever if you bought it for them for Christmas, then here's the low-down:
It includes six minifigures: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Ben Kenobi, Princess Leia Organa and Darth Vader with assorted weapons. It has an opening hull, detailed interior, twin flick missiles, rotating laser cannons, detachable cockpit cover, chairs, cup, control panels and game board - just remember to let the Wookie win!
It's over 38cms wide and 10cms tall, has 1,238 pieces and will keep you/your child out of trouble for a fair few hours on Christmas day, and probably still see you building it on Boxing day too; awesome.
