It's not often you get big discounts of more than 40% off Lego, but Amazon have reduced the Lego Minecraft The Desert Outpost set to £35.49, down from a penny shy of £60, and there's free delivery as well.
This is a massive set and you get an awful lot for your money, so if you have a birthday coming up for a Minecraft mad kid this is one to grab now and put away.
In this set you get 2 minifigures with weapons and accessories, plus a wolf and 2 skeletons. It's a fortress with a house and lookout tower, a TNT launcher with explode function (my kids will go mad for that), a buildable boat, a crafting table, and torches. This is a really substantial set, and to get it for this price is a real bargain for Lego.
This morning I spend what seemed like endless hours helping my son build a Lego Minecraft set, and I have to say it looks pretty impressive. They have spend the rest of the day playing with it, and then trying to copy it by building it on the game. It's proven to be a really big hit, and I'm very tempted to get this Desert Outpost set for my eldest's birthday in the summer, as I doubt it will be this price again.
