A hanging egg chair is one of those things I've always fancied for the garden but could never quite justify at the £150 or so they usually cost. It's a brown chair with a woven rope seat in a sturdy metal frame, so it won't look out of place against a fence or out on the patio. It's a big thing once it's up though, 190cm tall and a good metre wide, so have a spot in mind before you order. It'll happily live outside and only wants a quick wipe now and then.
What I especially like, with the heatwave we're having, is that you've got a way to get it in the garden pretty much straight away. It packs into a flat box made to fit in most car boots, so you can collect it free from your local store in about an hour and it's a basic-tools build rather than an all-dayer, so you could be sitting out in it that same afternoon.
