Buying branded toys from the manufacturer’s own site is usually the more expensive option. Especially when the toys come from the Thomas the Tank Engine range. These are hard, in my experience at least, to find at a discount price anywhere. And when I do find one other parents have already snapped it up, and it is out of stock. With at Thomas mad son, I’ve been doing a lot of perusing of the Tomy half price sale. You can, for example, get the Thomas at Echo Cave set for 21.49, marked down from £42.99.
It isn’t just a range of Thomas trains and tracks that’s available. You can also find a number of K’nex packs such as the Road Rigs range marked down from £24.99 to £12.99. Aqua Draw Wall Poster from the movie Cars is available for £7.99, down from £14.99. I particularly like the remote control Thomas train, £9.99 (was £19.99). In fact this whole site looks suspiciously like my son’s Christmas wishlist. I think I’ll check that he isn’t some kind of five year old computer genius and managed to hack the site before I place any orders!
