The Bright Starts Pretty in Pink Play Gym is currently £20 at Amazon. It’s the same price as the same thing at Tesco, but at Amazon it includes postage. Normally £45, this is a great saving of £25.
My daughter is already over two months old, and while I can’t believe that, I also can’t believe that I’m still looking for the ‘best’ play gym. We have three now, and one is too flat, one is too lumpy and one isn’t very interactive (of course they all have good points too!), and I tend to feel like I’m stuck in a repeat of Goldilocks (you know, the fussy sleeper who finds Papa Bear’s bed too hard, and Mama Bear’s too soft, but Baby Bear’s is perfect?)
So, this play gym is a mat, in an oversized flower shape. It has a rattle chime that plays eight melodies which can be either baby or parent activitated. It has a flower shaped mirror for self discovery, a crinkle flower on the mat for tummy time play, a water-filled teether, spinning rattle, ladybug with fabric accents and eight additional links for baby’s toys.
Hmmm.. do I risk another playmat it my search for just the right one?
