Recall: Asda Vegetable Burgers

Asda have issued an urgent recall of their own brand vegetable burgers due to possible contamination with pieces of plastic. The affected product is the Asda 4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers with the best before date of 6th April 2017, so if you have any of these you should not consume them and should return them to store for a full refund.

Make sure you check your freezer if you think you may have these and get them back to Asda. You don't need a receipt to get your refund.

With BBQ season in full swing there could be a lot of these lurking in freezers so please tell anyone who may have them.

What's happened?

It has come to our attention that there is a small risk of hard green plastic contamination in our Asda 4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers, with the best before date of 6th April 2017.

What you should do?

As a precautionary measure, if you have purchased some of the Asda 4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers with the above best before date, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.
