Lego City Train Station £26.55 @ Amazon
I'm a real sucker for Lego; there's something about building things with those different coloured bricks that really does it for me, I do object to paying through the nose to do it though.
So hurrah for this deal on Lego City Train Station sets.
It's suitable for Lego fans aged five and older - sometimes things like this can be tricky for the younger end of the recommended age range, but this review would suggest this is not the case with Lego City Train Station.
"I bought this station for my 5 year old grandson who loves Lego. He has spent many hours playing with it and is now wanting even more Lego..."
It comes with four mini figures: one train driver, one taxi driver, and two passengers and the actual station building has a sheltered waiting area, kiosk, ticket machine and timetables.
It also comes with four pieces of straight track (that aren't compatible with 9v Lego trains; I'm not sure what Lego trains they are ok for either) but NO train - this surprised me for a minute or two, but then...OF COURSE, you need to BUY the Lego Train as well.
All the usual Amazon delivery choices are available, with the supersaver or first class options being the most cost-effective way to go.
