My kids much prefer the boxes of LEGO bricks to the sets you get. I think it's because they like to build whatever they conjure up in their creative minds - much like they do when they play Minecraft. The LEGO 10696 Classic Medium Creative Brick Box contains 484 LEGO pieces including a range of LEGO bricks in 35 different colours, 18 tires, 18 rims, an 8 x 16 cm base plate, a window with frame and 3 pairs of eyes.

Use the box for inspiration of what to make, or do what my kids do and go freestyle. They also like to look up YouTube for cool designs that are easy to create.

Comes in a reusable, handy, plastic storage box too.
