Air fryers have well and truly taken over our kitchens, and the dual-basket ones are the clever pick if you're feeding a family — chips going in one side, something else in the other, both ready at the same time. So it caught my eye that George at ASDA have knocked two big 9L dual-basket models down to £40 each, both with free delivery. Same price, so it really comes down to which one suits you.

This one's down from £69 to £40. It's a punchy 3000W with two 4.5-litre baskets, but the bit I like is that you can lift the divider out and turn it into one big 9-litre space — handy for a whole chicken or a full tray of roasties when you're not splitting things up. You get sync cooking so both sides finish together, 12 presets, a 60–200°C range, dishwasher-safe baskets and a 2-year warranty. It comes in black or white or green but they're selling fast.

The Scoville is the bigger saving — down from £79 to £40. It's also 3000W with two 4.5-litre baskets and the same sync cooking, 12 presets and dishwasher-safe baskets, but it pushes a little hotter at up to 220°C, takes up slightly less room on the worktop, and — the clincher for me — comes with a 3-year warranty rather than two. It's only in black, and being brand new there are no reviews on it yet.
So at the same £40 it comes down to flexibility versus peace of mind: the George Home if you want that one-big-basket option for larger cook-ups, or the Scoville if the longer warranty and the extra bit of heat win you over. You'd not go wrong with either at this price for a 9-litre dual.
