Spigen are better known for phone cases, but they do earbuds as well, and two of the white pairs are under a tenner just now.
That’s the cheaper of the two. They shut out the noise around you and you can switch the setting to suit where you are, so there’s one for indoors, one for the bus, one for somewhere busy and one for a windy day. There are six microphones in them so folk can actually hear you on a call, you get six hours out of a charge, and the case takes that up to 30. They’ll cope with sweat and a bit of rain, though I wouldn’t wear them out in a downpour.
For 70p more these are the better pair. The noise cancelling is the same, with three settings instead of four, but the speakers inside are a step up so there’s a bit more detail in the music. The battery lasts longer too, seven and a half hours a charge, and these ones will take a proper soaking rather than just a splash. You can choose how much of the outside world you let back in as well, which is worth having if you’re crossing roads with them in.
