I think my love for bedding and climbing in between sheets must come from the Sundays of my childhood. Sunday's was always washing day for my mum and there were always sheets billowing on the line in readiness to be ironed, and put on the bed.
Getting in to bed on Sunday night was always amazing, there wasn't a crease to be seen and everything was crisp, fresh and smelt of the wind that had blown through them.
New duvet sets have the same sort of feeling - ok, so they don't smell of fresh air but it's the newness of it all.
