Looking for something to keep the kids entertained over the holidays? Here's another little free activity to help out that will be great for all the animal lovers out there.
Pets At Home run free Kids Workshops over the summer school holidays. There's a choice of 'Furry Friends' or 'Scales and Fins' so that your kids can choose the type of pets that interests them the most.
Each workshop is half an hour long, which should give you a few minutes to do some shopping or grab a coffee while the kids have fun with pets. They get a chance to hold the pets, complete fun activities and learn lots about looking after animals so if your kids have been after a hamster, rabbit, or something a little less cuddly like a lizard or a snake then this should give them a good idea of what's involved.
