I really like it when kids' favourite characters are used in interactive educational things like this Madagascar Animal Trivia DVD.
This is something for a rainy day when you've exhausted the painting patience, built more Lego houses than Wimpy Homes and want something that's a little more than just plonking your child down to watch mind-numbing cartoons.
Suitable for kids aged six and over and with the option to have between one and four playets, this interactive DVD will provide learning along with entertainment.
As intrepid explorers you'll set out on an expedition to explore the planet's jungles, mountains, deserts and oceans to see which player is the "wildest".
The DVD features 1600 wildlife questions and includes 'Dynamic Levelling', which basically means that the game automatically adjusts the difficulty setting of the questions to each player's knowledge level. Isn't that clever!
The set-up is minimal; all you have to do to play is put the disc into your DVD player and use the remote control to select your answers - simple! Even the folks over on our gaming site Dealspwn could manage it.
The rrp for this is £19.99 but Base are letting it go for just £1.99 and there's no postage to pay either, so there really is only £1.99 to pay and that's it!
