29 April 2013

Let your kids learn something new every day with the LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Learning Gaming System. The Toy Shop has this cute educational toy on sale for £29.99. It’s been reduced from £59.99 so you’re saving a lovely 50%.

The LeapFrog Leapster Explorer Learning Gaming System has high-res graphics and a colour touch-screen that kids will love using to play exciting learning games. In fact, they'll be having so much fun they won't even realise how much the activities are boosting their reading, maths and science skills.

The gaming system comes with a Leaplet card so you can download one of 20 learning apps and get playing straight away, but there are loads more games, activities, videos and e-books available online. You can also go on adventures with your favourite TV and film characters by using Leapster Explorer games cartridges which are sold separately.

It’s great for mum and dad as they can go online and check what games the kids are playing and what skills they're picking up.

To be honest, you're better off shopping around for a Leapster GS. It's more up-to-date technology, motion sensors, and includes the camera which was optional in the old Explorer. The GS can frequently be tracked down for under £30 (the pink one is £28 at Amazon at the moment).
