LeapFrog LeapPad £59.99 @ Amazon

7 October 2011

This is a nifty little gift for a special little girl. The LeapPad from LeapFrog is apparently one of the Must Have Gifts of 2011 and it is on sale, in pink, on Amazon for £59.99 instead of the usual £79.99. This is by no means cheap, but it still a good discount.

The LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer tablet is pink, takes ages to get delivered (you’re looking at a month’s wait here) and has been all over the media as THE thing to own. It’s an educational table for kids with a built-in camera, video recorder and a huge library of games.

The LeapPad comes with innovative apps that inspire creativity and turn reading into fun and games. It has a 5” high res touch screen that kids can either use their fingers or the stylus to navigate. It can be customised, can store several apps at once, and is all about education.

I’ve not used one of these yet, I am hoping to review one I’ve bought and will let you know whether it is worth the dosh. Unless you have one already? If so, what is it like?
