The 30 Minute Young Driver Experience is for children aged 10-17 years old - yes, you read that right. It's for those that are 'too young' to be on the road, so to speak.
This gift package is run by the UK's largest under 17 driving academy and there's centres around the UK in 43 locations.
It allow your child to learn the basics of driving before they have even hit the legal age. Don't panic, it's all done in a controlled setting, but in a real car - a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SRi, in fact with one-to-one tuition from a fully qualified driving instructor.
The session is 30 minutes long and covers starting, accelerating, braking, road sign recognition and reverse parking. This is done on a replica road system - you can even watch.
There is a minimum height for this Driving Experience: 4ft 7"/1.42m.
