To use the promotional code you will need to go through checkout. This means either signing in, or registering first. When you get to the Delivery and Confirmation page, enter the code in the Discount Code box and hit the Apply button. You'll see the discount in the totals column.
I tested it out on this really unusual (but I love it) Me Burgundy Amanda T Shirt priced at £9.99. The code took this down by £2, making it £7.99. Delivery is free to all UK addresses. From the way it is worded on the website this seems to include Northern Ireland too.
