M&S have 20% off their cosy home bits online at the minute, and the light up candles are in there. They're £9.60 down from £12, and they're the ones that glow from inside with a twinkle once the wick is lit. I've picked out a few of my favourite things below.
There are three candle scents and they're all £9.60. The Yuletide Pine & Spice* is sweet clementine with fir and warming spice, and the glass has a snowy trees scene printed on it, while the Mandarin Clove & Cinnamon* is the warmer one, zesty orange with clove and cinnamon. Light the wick and the little lights inside start to twinkle, so it carries on glowing without you having to watch it. They burn for about 20 hours and there are refills, so the glass gets used again next year.
The wax melt advent calendar* is £28 down from £35, and it's 24 wax melts, eight of each of those three scents, with a townhouse-shaped burner and the tealights to go with it, all in a gift box. One for anyone who'd rather count down with scent than chocolate.
Then the Christmas Tree Throw* is £32 down from £40, in a neutral colour with a tree design running through it. It's soft and warm, the sort you'd leave over the back of the sofa from now until January.
There are over 180 things in the offer altogether, with bedding, towels and kitchen bits as well as all this, so it's worth a proper rummage. It's online only, mind.
Delivery is free once your basket is over £75, and standard is from £3.99 under that, with next day at £3.99 if you order by midnight. A candle or two won't get you to £75 on its own, so it's worth knowing that click and collect to a store is free and ready the next day if you order by 7pm. Returns are free too.
