The Rainforest Jumperoo at Amazon currently has 27% off, making it £62.45 – a fantastic price for an amazing piece of baby equipment.
We all know that there a lot of baby essentials that are absolutely not essential, right? But the Rainforest Jumperoo is the one bit of baby-kit that I swear by, and loved so much, it’s in a bag in our garage, on the off chance that we might someday have another baby. It’s just THAT good.
When my daughter was little, she would throw herself out of the vibrating bouncy chair, and the bumbo so when someone recommended the Rainforest Jumperoo I was not inclined to rush out and buy what was, at the time, nigh on £100. We eventually got one on Ebay and made a day trip out of the 3-hour drive to collect it, and it was worth every second.
It’s the only thing that would keep my little girl entertained up to about a year old. She enjoyed bouncing, or just sitting, and it was phenomenal watching her ‘discover’ the toys around it as she grew. Initially it was just the spinning lizard that grabbed her attention, but it really was wonderful watching her figure out the different toys around the bar. And I’ll never forget the day she discovered the Toucan above her head. There was pure delight on her face.
And of course, the bouncing action was great and I really think it strengthened her legs without putting pressure on her spine. The only down side is that it does take up quite a bit of space.
As far as non-essential baby kit goes, this one is a must have in our books.
