Kids don't have to be scared of the dark to enjoy a Night Light. My eldest son uses his with it's torch function to read in the dark. The Night Light function is great for those children that like a glow in the room rather than complete darkness. The Torch is handy for those middle of the night trips to the toilet or for reading, although I don't think that would be too kind on little eyes.
