Sainsbury's have a Playmobil New Farm with Silo on sale for a fabulous £44.99. They're currently £80.56 at Amazon and £100 at Hamley's, which I don't find hard to believe at all. We reviewed another Playmobil farm last year, and it was phenomenal! Sainbury's click and collect is free on this order (as it's over £15) and home delivery will be £3.95.
The Playmobil Barn with Silo features cow stalls with a milking machine and feeding pens for the pigs. There is a working hoist to lift goods up to the loft. The silo can be filled with 'animal feed' and automatically dispenses it when the nozzle is pulled down. The door of the barn is large enough to drive the tractor through with its trailer (Playmobil item 5121 - sold separately). The set includes a Playmobil family of three, 19 animals and over 35 accessories.
They say it's suitable for children over four, and in this instance I'd probably agree - largely because they have such small, delicate and detailed pieces in these sets that they're likely to get distributed around the house by younger children.
