You know what, I would have loved a Nerf gun as a kid, they're just too much fun. My youngest son has a few Nerf weapons in his armoury - he's practising his shooting so he can compete with his sister, who's just joined the Army as a member of the Royal Artillery, when she comes home on leave.
The Nerf Dart Tag Speed Load 6 is an air-powered blaster that lets you return fire fast with high-speed reloads; awesome! The integrated clip holds six Nerf darts and lets you load super-fast - when you pump your Speed Load 6 you can open fire at targets up to 10 metres away.
The Speedload 6 comes with six foam darts that whistle as they fly through the air and has gained more than a few fans:
This gun is awesome, basically its the same as the Nerf Maverick, but instead of using a rotating barrel, you have a quick-load internal clip system wich can hold up to six darts; ive found that the Velcro and Whistler darts work best, Streamline darts DO work, just not as well as the others. The range is the same as a Maverick.
Ive only had one jam since getting this gun and with the jam-door where it is i was able to easily fish out the stuck dart. The jam occured when i was trying to see how fast i could fire it, so take it easy on the trigger and you'll be fine :)
The biggest surprise when i opened the box was how large this gun is, its HUGE! Even with my adult-sized hands it still looks big. It says on the box 8+ but id imagine an 8 year old struggling to hold this in one hand; not only is it big, its also very front-heavy and i find myself using it in two hands quite often.
That said, im still very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to my freinds!
5 STARS! ^_^
Unsuspecting Grand Parents, Mum's & Dad's, visitors, the dogs bum and the odd unsuspecting chicken wandering happily outside in the garden. All have become targets for this toy. Stuff the kids it's me shooting everybody! Great laugh......err......for me.
Seems well made and is easy to load and use. It has been used to smack me around the head in a threatening manner a few times and has survived so far.
