I have to admit, I haven't the foggiest idea what a Moxie Girlz is. My only experience is of the adverts on children's TV. Which means that as I write this, I have that silly jingle in head. However, my son does get invited to girl's birthday parties so I have snapped up one of these for the birthday present drawer. It is the Moxie Girlz Vanity Set & Doll, originally £30 now on final reduction at £5.50 at Tesco Direct.
The Moxie Girlz Vanity Set comes with a doll, wardrobe, dressing table, stool, hairbrush, hand mirror and make up accessories. Apparantly this is everything your Moxie Girlz doll needs to get ready in the morning.
Having looked them up, Moxie Girlz appear to be pretty much like Bratz dolls, but without the really skimpy clothing. Moxie is, according to the website, confidence. And the logo for Moxie Girlz is "be true! be you!". There are four Moxie Girlz - Lexa, Avery, Sophina, and Bria. On the website it says that "they are confident, positive, and energetic. They have the courage to go for it."
A moxie girl can do anything - but mostly it would seem this revolves around fashion and makeup. Not sure I'm liking these dolls a whole lot to be honest!
According to the website, colours and styles may vary. The recommended age range for this toy is five years and upwards.
This is a particularly good bargain if you can collect the toy in store, as this is free.
