Lego Star Wars Slave I £59.99 @ Argos

3 January 2011

Lego Star Wars Slave I I have a five year old son who is Lego Star Wars mad, thanks in no small part to his eleven year old cousin who has been Lego Star Wars nuts for years now. But also I know just how much this stuff costs and it is a LOT. The Lego Star Wars Slave I is a new set, so therefore sought after, with an RRP of £79.99. Argos has it on special offer for £59.99.

About the cheapest that anyone at our sister site HUKD seems to have been able to elsewhere is £64 on Amazon. On the down side, this deal originally happened about a week ago. Somehow our super bargain sniffing noses at PlayPennies missed it! Shocking but some deals do slip through despite our near round the clock vigilance. Curse that need to sleep! However, on the up side, it is still in stock for home delivery.

According to the website, the Lego Star Wars Slave I is robust when assembled. It has hidden, flick-firing missiles, and comes with three mini figures. From the photo it looks like these three figures are Boba Fett, Han Solo and Bossk. OK I'm not enough of a Star Wars fan to know who Bossk is either, I had to look that one up! Also in the photo is the slab of stuff that Han Solo gets frozen into, at the end of Empire Strikes Back. The recommended age for this set is nine years and older.

Thanks to dvd-hacker-man and RookeyDooks at HUKD!
