I've seen Toy Story 3 and yes, I cried. It was more a movie for adults than for kids I think. Although my son enjoyed it, he doesn't ask to watch it again and again like he did with the other two movies. Thank goodness. I find it hard enough to cope with his repeated viewings of Up (the most heart breaking movie I have seen and that's just the beginning bit). This toy is one of the, for me at least, more memorable new characters in the movie. The Fisher-Price Toy Story 3 Talking Chatter Telephone is on more than half price sale at Argos, down from £19.99 to £7.99.
In the movie, the telephone is a shy, frightened toy stuck in the not so nice Caterpillar room at the daycare centre. Overcoming his own fears he helps Woody save the other toys. I won't say anymore as that would spoil things if you've not seen the movie.
This toy makes a squeaking sound, and its eyes move up and down, when pushed along. Use the dial to call Woody or Buzz Lightyear for a chat, listen to the chatter telephone ring to attract your attention or use the telephone to hear about how to get by the monkey and out of the day care centre.
The phone does require 3 AA batteries. And these are not included (boo hiss). The recommended age is for two years old and over.
