About ELC

ELC is the Early Learning Centre, a British toy and educational play retailer trading at elc.co.uk under The Entertainer group, selling baby and toddler toys, learning toys, role play, outdoor toys, books, arts and crafts, and seasonal gift edits. The site stocks the dedicated ELC and Happyland own-label ranges alongside partner brands. Sub-collections cover the Clearance Toys area, the Shop by Age and Type of Toy edits, and rotating Offers events. Shoppers looking for an ELC discount code can browse this page for the latest deals before completing an order.

ELC Newsletter Sign-Up

Subscribers to the ELC email newsletter receive new product alerts, sale event previews, and limited-time promotional codes direct to inbox. The signup form sits in the homepage footer, where an email address is entered to subscribe and the welcome offer arrives by email shortly afterwards. Subscribers also receive ongoing alerts on Happyland launches, outdoor toy releases, and seasonal capsule events. Pairing a newsletter alert with an ELC voucher code from this page is restricted by the offer terms.

ELC Sales and Clearance

ELC runs a permanent Clearance section alongside seasonal sale events on the UK site. Combining an ELC voucher code with a sale price is restricted by the offer terms, but sale markdowns apply automatically once the qualifying product is added to the basket.

• Clearance Toys: Reduced prices across baby, toddler, role play, and outdoor toys in the dedicated Clearance area.
• Big Sale: Recurring sitewide sale events with reductions across toys, puzzles, and games during published windows.
• Outdoor Toy Sale: Reduced prices on tents, paddling pools, trampolines, and ride-on toys during the spring and summer calendar.
• Wooden Toys and Block Sets: Recurring reductions on selected wooden toys and block sets during published events.
• Construction Toys: Reduced prices on construction toys during published events.
• Black Friday and Boxing Day: Sitewide markdowns during the late November and post-Christmas calendar.

ELC Delivery and Click and Collect

ELC ships across the UK with a free Click and Collect service, free standard delivery over a published threshold, and a free next-day option on larger baskets. Combining an ELC discount code with the free Click and Collect option is the simplest way to skip a delivery charge entirely.

• Free Click and Collect: Free Click and Collect at participating UK ELC and Entertainer stores, ready in 3-5 working days.
• Standard Delivery: £3.99 on UK orders below £39.99, free on UK orders over £39.99.
• Express Delivery: £5.99 for express arrival on time-sensitive orders.
• Next Day Delivery: Free on UK orders over £75 when ordered before 7pm, with delivery in 1-2 working days, UK mainland only.
• Late Order Cut-Off: Next-day orders placed after 7pm are delivered in 2 working days.
• Tracking: Each order ships with a tracking link sent to the registered email address.

ELC Returns Policy

ELC accepts returns within 28 days of receipt under the published returns policy, with in-store exchanges available at participating stores. Reading these terms before applying an ELC promo code keeps the process predictable.

• Return Window: 28 days from the date of receipt for refunds or exchanges under the published terms.
• In-Store Exchanges: Online orders can be exchanged at participating ELC and Entertainer stores with proof of purchase.
• Warehouse Returns: Postal returns to the warehouse are processed for a refund only.
• Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging in resaleable condition.
• Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return is received and processed.
• Proof of Purchase: A receipt, bank statement, or mobile banking entry can be used as proof of purchase.

ELC Payment Options

ELC accepts standard payment methods plus buy-now-pay-later financing through Klarna at the online checkout. Pairing an ELC voucher code with a Klarna instalment plan is the simplest way to spread the cost of a multi-toy order.

• Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro accepted at checkout.
• Digital Wallets: PayPal, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay supported as digital wallet options.
• Klarna: Klarna Pay in 3 interest-free instalments or Pay in 30 Days available at checkout.
• Gift Vouchers: ELC and Entertainer gift vouchers available in selected denominations and redeemable against any qualifying online order.
• Order Limit: Generally only one ELC promo code can be applied per order, but it can be combined with sale prices.

How to Use an ELC Discount Code

Applying an ELC discount code at the online checkout takes just a few steps.

• Browse and add to bag: Visit the ELC UK website at elc.co.uk and add the chosen toys, puzzles, books, or outdoor play items to the bag.
• Go to checkout: Proceed to the checkout page to review the selected items.
• Enter the code: Locate the promo code field at the checkout and type the ELC discount code exactly as it appears, including any capital letters, then click apply.
• Confirm the saving: Check that the reduction is reflected in the order total before completing payment.
• Note: Most ELC promo codes apply to selected items only and may exclude clearance lines, gift cards, and selected branded products.
