This is a really lovely little train set, and would make a fabulous addition to any wooden railway set. Amazon has reduced the Brio Freight Circle Set to £12.50 from ££24.99. This is the cheapest I could find the set. Delivery is free with Amazon Prime.
My son started with the Thomas Wooden Railway, when he was 2, and now he is six he still gets it out. I've added to it quite a lot over the years, and Brio is one of my favourite brands. All the wooden railways work with each other, thankfully, so you can pick up cheaper chunks of track from places like Ikea to add to the more expensive brands like Thomas.
The Brio Freight Circle Set makes an ideal starter kit for young drivers. Children can put themselves in charge of some very important deliveries by collecting the gas loads and storing them inside the container before the train sets off.
