Personally I'm not a huge fan of Barbie and the whole pink thing when it comes to girls. I didn't like them when I was a little girl! But this one is quite cute plus, it has actions. That is, it doesn't just sit there - it moves! And for some reason, there's nothing more fun for a kid than something that moves through water!
This Barbie Swimming Mermaid Doll is from the movie, Barbie in A Mermaid Tale. You can wind her tail and she swims, and also according to the box, she spins and dances through the water. Her hair changes colour with the cold water. This doll comes with flower floats for her arms and a pretty seashell hair tie.
The recommended age on the box is for 3 years plus.
