After recent studies revealing that one in six children experience anxiety related issues, Aldi has curated a range where each product has been created to guide little ones through managing big emotions. Aimed at helping to support children’s mental wellbeing and emotional development, as well as providing families with the tools to practice mindfulness from an early age, the range is available in stores from 26th January and starts from just £2.99.
With sensory play being an important part of children’s development, particularly with emotional awareness, Aldi’s new range will help little ones explore their senses and discover how these can be calming.
The LED Sensory Ball (£2.99) features light up balls within a larger inflatable ball, and as the larger ball is rolled, bounced, or hugged, the inner lights flash in a captivating display of changing colours to create a fun and exciting playtime experience.
Meanwhile, the LED Ball Pit (£12.99) has 50 glow in the dark balls that are surrounded by multicoloured lights running through the inflatable outer ring.
For more LED fun, the LED Colour Change Light Pillar (£19.99) features 360-degree illumination with flowing light effects to help create a calming environment. With warm white, single static colour, or colour change functionality, all controlled with ease from the included remote, little ones will love watching the patterns created with the lights. And the lighting effects can even be controlled by sound!
Help kids feel calmer with the Weighted Plush Toy (£12.99). Proven to help ease anxiety and stress by reducing cortisol levels and calming the nervous system, the gentle weight of the plush toy can help promote a sense of security. Available in a choice of an adorable teddy bear, dinosaur, or rabbit, it’s the perfect companion for bedtime or any moment of distress.
Or, choose the plush Worry Monster (£5.99) to help banish anxious feelings. Featuring a zip up pouch disguised as a mouth, encourage little ones to let go of any worries by writing them down and placing them inside the Worry Monster to eat them away. Available in blue, pink, or purple, it’s a great way to help kids learn how to express their feelings.
The Wellness & Mindful Note Pad(£3.99) provides plenty of space for kids to let their imaginations run free, offering an interactive and creative way to express their emotions. They can write, doodle or journal, and the notebook even features fun repositionable patches perfect for recording thoughts and drawings.
Aldi’s Kid’s Wellness range will be available in stores from 26th January, while stocks last.
Shoppers will need to hurry though because as with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
